Embark on an emotional rollercoaster in this electrifying psychological suspense drama that captivates you from start to finish.

When Maria, a successful Swedish TV presenter, learns of the shocking accusations against her husband, her whole life crumbles.

The debut feature by director Caroline Ingvarsson skilfully unfolds with a narrative that keeps viewers on the edge of their seats. It immerses us in Maria's intricate web of guilt and self-deception but also provocatively and cleverly challenges the idea of doing the right thing. The unexpected chain of events creates constant tension and suspense that's both nail-biting and thought-provoking. This is enhanced by the film's picturesque setting. From the serene Swedish landscapes to the hauntingly beautiful English moors, the eerie atmosphere mirrors Maria's inner turmoil.

The film excels both in storytelling and in exploring the human psyche. Maria is a beautiful and charismatic woman who embodies strength, vulnerability, and complexity in equal measure. Her actions under the circumstances strike a universal chord, raising questions about the moral choices we face and the secrets we keep. We are all Maria.

“Unmoored” is a riveting cinematic masterpiece that combines outstanding performances, breathtaking scenery, and an intriguing narrative to deliver a profoundly engrossing experience. A must-watch for any lover of psychological suspense dramas.
